So! It's been a while since I've blog posted. Almost 2 years! But let's keep this things going..
I was talking to a friend and he had issues with what people thought about his LOOKS. And it got my pondering...
I always want to tell people how it's not important...looks aren't important. What better way to do that than to blog eh?
Yeah that's so cliche isn't it? "Looks aren't everything." Well guess what. THEY ARE. -_- Annoyingly, it is not uncommon knowledge. Society always expects you to look your best. Let's face it, we all have laughed at that one kid that wore the most ridiculous outfit to the mall EVER.
And at that other girl that wore too much make up.
At that guy that wore a t-shirt that was too tight. Laughed at his "man boobs"..
At that girl who's face was covered in pimples..

Some of us have rejected the one kid that comes up to us and admits they have a crush on you.
"omg Eww you are GROSS!"
"um..no thanks.."
"You're fat. Sorry, no."
Some of us have been on the receiving end- rejected by other people.
And that's what teenage hood is all about. Trying to fit in! Trying to feel accepted and look attractive enough.
Have you ever felt like giving up? "I'm short and skinny" "I'm too dark and have pimples" "I'm overweight and ugly" "I will never be loved by anyone.."
Hell yeah you won't if you go around with that attitude!!!!!! Cmon guys and gals! MAN UP! If you're gonna walk around putting yourself down, then so will the world! Remember, every other teen is trying to be better than the next, so the minute you say you're no good, of course people will agree! People like other people that are confident of themselves! It's the only way people will look beyond you're physical appearance and will focus on what you are. You're personality.
And that is what's most important :)
Teenagers these days find the need to fit in. That's perfectly understandable. But it's high time they realized that EVERYONE ELSE is trying to fit in too! Yeah the popular kids may seem "loved by all", but you haven't yet counted the number of people in the world that love YOU! And I'm sure if you DID, it would cross 500! And the kids whom you think "have it all", really don't. Because they wouldn't have what YOU have.
When you think about it, you are equally blessed. So there is no point in worrying about self image. :)
And heck, you're still growing aren't you? So you're gonna change! Once you're 20 you'll probably look different. And its not like you're trying to find you're life partner at 15 right? (or around?) Coz that would be pretty..stupid. Just saying :)
Take my word for it, you'll be alright! When you feel you're no good, count the things you ARE good at.
And pray :)
Remember: You are only as strong as you believe you are.
Have a great day !
