Deception....disgrace....
Evil as plain as the scar on his face...
Did you catch my Lion King reference up here? LOL I think its fitting to what I'm about to say..!
How many of us have heard people snicker and mutter behind our backs, about "how skinny she is" or "how big she's gotten" and how "many fries is she gonna eat before she becomes double obese?"
The list never ends. Its sad that the guys get victimized too, often about how "gay" they look.
But have you ever wondered why its us girls that have to endure far more trash than boys ever will?
The answer is innate in us, girls. You were born with it. And you can't escape it, because its how we're made.
We, well, we were made to be caretakers, compassionate and careful, gentle and kind. We were made to be nurturers, having little baby offspring to cuddle and care for, and to eventually nag when they're teenagers like we are now. *giggles*
:)
And yes, we were made to compliment our male friends, our male companions, our male acquaintances. Then why is it that we get tormented about how we look all the time? Where does that come into play????
Take a look at this video for a second. Some of you might have seen it already.
See it again maybe.
So there you go. Sweet teenage girl, meet Photoshop. Its what everybody uses these days, did you know?
Well, I certainly wasn't aware until recently. I knew Photoshop existed, but when you're looking at J Lo posing like that on the E! magazine, you aren't thinking about Photoshop..! Nobody thinks its photoshop! right?
Take a look at this video too. If you've got time. Might make things clearer. :)
We often forget what we look like, and who we're looking at in the mirror. We forget that we're the only people we can be, and that no matter how hard we try to change that, no matter how belemic we get, or how many diets we go on, or how much we exercise, looking like the photoshopped skinny "perfect" model we see all the time is never going to happen to us.
It can't.
Because NOBODY can look like that.
So stop feeling upset girls. I know, sometimes its hard not to fret about the pimples on our faces. And the guys don't really help either. The guys of our generation have been wired to look at us "like that", to want to have girlfriends that are victoria secret model look-alikes, even Justin Bieber fell victim to that! So most guys don't help, but that just sets your standards :) When you can be comfortable with yourself, and are strong and independent, you'll find yourself loved by guys that are decent enough to like you for you, and then you can be confident in picking a guy that truly cares for you. Settling for a Justin Bieber-ish loserface that wants you looking skinny and curvy (and staying healthy at the same time) is settling, and you don't want to SETTLE, coz you're so much more worth that :)
So give your hair some bounce, groom yourself well, put on nice perfume and wear comfortable, yet pretty clothing; walk with some confidence and smile like there's no tomorrow..! Life is so much easier when you're happy with yourself :)
Think about it.
